Working on a digital photograph from a sky walk, I brushed, scraped and let the very wet paint flow and drip to suggest the dramatic moment of light hitting the trees.

During the winter of 2017 I took frequent walks at the Fort River Conservation Area in Hadley, Massachusetts. While much of my work during this period was photographic, I did some painting on digital prints and this is my personal favorite.
