Walking Wentworth Farm 12.19.2016

From Notes while walking Wentworth:
Does my witnessing with knowing awareness change the body of what is known and knowable.

Walking 11.28.2016

Walking on November 28, 2016 in Amherst, MA with nine photographs of the sky taken in random intervals between of 3:21–3:51 PM . I kept noticing the geometry in my framing dicisions.

Incoming Grey 04.09.2016

The brightness of the earlier part of the day was darkened by the incoming clouds, though the sky was still highly luminous.

High Wind 03.29.2016

The wind gusting to the point of needing to lean into it, defined the day, from the fast moving clouds to the whitecaps moving upstream.

Snow Walk 02.08.2016

Walking in the snow at 12:50PM.

Sun Flames—Fortunes Rocks, ME 10.12.2015 (set of Nine)

Fortunes Rocks Celadon Haze 08.30.2015

Walking the beach at Fortunes Rocks, an eight image sequence from 08.30.2015  7:59–8:02am.

I have become entranced by the moment when the sun reflects off the surface of the incoming waves as well as the dissipation patterns embodying light in the turbulence of the crashed waves. Sky and water appear to merge into a single field. This is one of my favorite sequences from my annual summer trip to Maine. I may move it into Walks but for now it will live in the Notebook.

Williamstown Storm Walk 07.19.2015

The initial walk was taken on July 19, 2015 on the grounds of the Clark Art Institute. it was planned as a public art walk. An incoming thunderstorm forced walk to be executed quickly. The two photographic sets below represent different aspects of the walk. The first set is before the rain as the storm approached. The second is just as the rain became heavy.
